Testimonials
I can't recommend SoundPlay Hearing and Speech and in particular SLP Elijah enough! My son is excited each and every week to have sessions with someone who makes learning fun and accessible. Elijah cultivates a trusting and warm atmosphere which fosters my son's self confidence to express himself. I am thrilled with his progress.
My 17-year-old has been with SoundPlay for almost one year for SLP services. Shortly after she started, she developed a trusting relationship with Shannon Muir. The biggest thing that sets SoundPlay apart from other SLP services is their ability to respectfully meet clients where they are while also challenging them to grow. Shannon consistently maintains structure while personalizing each session to fit the client.
What sets Janet apart is not only her professional excellence but also the extraordinary humanity she brings to her work. She has always treated my daughter with patience, respect, and a deep understanding of her unique needs. Janet has been flexible and supportive through every stage of our journey. Whether adjusting to changes in routine, trying new approaches, or working closely with our family, she consistently made us feel seen, heard, and valued.
I’ve been working with Shannon and SoundPlay for nearly 10 years. Shannon is an amazing SLP and, over the years, has assembled a wonderful team. I’m thrilled with our current SLP, Jaimie. She is patient, kind, professional and so easy to work with. I can highly recommend working with the SLPs at SoundPlay!
We are very grateful for the support we received at SoundPlay. Everyone has been so patient, kind, and professional throughout our experience.
I first came to SoundPlay because I had concerns about our daughter’s language delay. Shannon not only helped us through the assessment process with care and understanding, but also guided us in the right direction to get the support our daughter needed. I truly cannot thank her enough for that.
We continue to attend SoundPlay, and our daughter absolutely loves going there. We have seen significant progress in her communication and confidence. We highly recommend SoundPlay to any family looking for caring and knowledgeable support for their child.
I have had my hearing tested by Janet and Ayesha. Both of them were so professional and thorough. I was grateful to have my hearing evaluated with no pressure to buy hearing aids (which I have and use). SoundPlay provides excellent hearing testing and advice.
