I’m a speech-language pathologist and audiologist with more than 35 years of experience working with children and adults, helping them communicate with confidence. My career has taken me from South Africa to Ontario and to beautiful British Columbia, where I’ve worked in large clinics, corporate environments, and my own private practice.
It is extremely rewarding helping children strengthen their speech, language and listening abilities. I believe strongly in partnering with families, and I make it a priority to involve parents in every step of the decision‑making process, taking care to design personalised intervention plans that reflect their goals and values. In addition to my work with children, I also support adults of all ages in understanding their hearing status and exploring solutions that fit their lifestyle. I truly enjoy working alongside our SoundPlay staff members, sharing experiences, learning from one another, and collaborating on cases to ensure our clients receive thoughtful, well‑rounded support.
I was honoured to receive the Speech‑Language Pathologist of the Year Award for 2025 from Speech and Hearing BC.
